Of course there is no such thing as a graduation gene; nobody is destined to go to University. But, If your parent(s) went to university, is there a good chance you will too?
Research has shown that an individual with degree-facilitated occupation can expect to earn more over their lifetime. Coupling this with the increasing cost of tuition fees, financial backing from parents in many cases is imperative.
With this in mind, will it be likely that university-orientated roots to a family tree spanning several generations will boast graduates at every branch?
